GEETEE recently completed a project to design, produce, and install bespoke wall coverings, vinyls, and graphics at one of Britain’s largest and most iconic plants, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). JLR aimed to showcase the rich car-making history of their Solihull site and tell the story of their most popular vehicle, the Land Rover, through custom wall coverings and vinyls. They also wanted to create an environment that would motivate their staff and instil pride in their workplace.
With this vision in mind, GEETEE set out to design and transform previously bland corridors, visitor areas, conference rooms, offices and staff canteens. Collaborating closely with JLR, GEETEE brought their vision to life by delivering 50 meters of wall covering that depicted the development and journey of the Land Rover. They transformed empty white corridors into a journey of discovery, printing and installing HD wallpaper to breathe new life into stark spaces, while adding texture and interest to conference rooms and visitor areas.
Additionally, GEETEE undertook the transformation of a previously ordinary two-tier portacabin. They produced a hard-wearing vinyl wrap that could withstand the British weather and provided a unique and interesting skin for the company’s training centre. The portacabin now sits in harmony with its lakeside surroundings.
